Meet Nala
Mother
Nala is the heart of Kansas Sunset Goldens and our oldest girl. Nala joined our family as a puppy in 2020. She is originally from Colorado. She has been with us the longest, and her gentle presence and steady temperament set the tone for our entire program. From the very beginning, Nala has shown herself to be nurturing, intuitive, and deeply devoted to her people and her puppies.
As a mother, Nala is truly exceptional. She is attentive, patient, and calm, instinctively caring for her puppies and teaching them confidence, affection, and balance during their earliest weeks. Many of the wonderful traits we value in our dogs—sweet dispositions, intelligence, and a strong desire to please—can be traced back to her influence.
Nala enjoys spending her days relaxing with the family, soaking up attention, and watching over the other dogs. She represents everything we strive for in our breeding program: excellent temperament, loving companionship, and the timeless Golden Retriever spirit. We are incredibly grateful for the legacy Nala continues to leave through her puppies.
